Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart! I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.”Psalms 32:11 and
34:2 We have so much to rejoice about daily. Yes, there are many evils of the world, but God is so good.We had two beautiful saves over the past three weeks at Forest View (read more below). One of Dr. Goyal’s suburban clinics (Dimensions) has closed permanently! And Christmas is just around the corner! So we invite you to join us next Thursday, Dec. 22nd for our 2nd annual Christmas Caroling at Forest View! Come anytime from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm.Even if you can only stay for one song! Raise your voice in song (voice like an angel or frog, God loves them all!). Let the afflicted women and men at the clinic hear and rejoice! And here’s more good news: A new study has shown that a pregnant woman with cancer can be treated with chemotherapy without harming the baby. Most pregnant women diagnosed with cancer are advised to abort the child. Yet, Dr. Frederic Amant says, “If chemotherapy is given after the first 12 to 14 weeks of pregnancy, only a fraction of the chemo passes through the placenta… and the drugs appear to have no health impact on the baby’s development.” Pre-term delivery (which is often recommended to pregnant women with cancer), however, has been proven to harm the babies. Please share this information with your doctors. Many lives may be saved. I call it miraculous because there were so many times when all seemed lost. When I first approached the car, Veronica (the client) had already gone in and her sister Adrianna was in the car with Veronica’s 1 ½ year old daughter. Adrianna told me that she was very much against the abortion, because she had one 6 years ago and was still suffering emotionally. Despite this, Veronica didn't feel like she could have another baby (She has two children, her husband is separated, and she does not have enough money for rent or food.) As I was counseling Adrianna about Project Rachel, Veronica suddenly appeared at the car to get money for medication. I talked at length to her, but she insisted on going back inside “to think.” I got in the car with Adrianna and a half hour long texting session with Veronica began. Finally, after sending two unanswered texts, we feared Veronica had gone through with it. Suddenly, Veronica came rushing out the door and left! I went with her to the Women’s Center in Chicago last Saturday, and if you come to Forest View next week, I’ll show you the ultrasound of her beautiful 8 week-old baby! I’m thinking its a boy, so we’ll see! Thanks be to God! And Veronica would like to thank all of you who joined us physically at Forest View and elsewhere in spirit. Veronica later told me that she was actually in the room, wearing the gown, hearing the doctor call her name, when she got the courage to leave. THAT is the power of prayer! Please pray for Veronica to find a job very soon as she is in desperate need. ** On Thursday, December 8th, EIGHT women had their babies killed at the hands of a “doctor.” ** On Thursday, December 15, EIGHT children were killed inside a “medical center.” ** Around 9:00 am, long before the doctor arrived, a young couple, Ernesto and Rebecca, exited the clinic and went to sit on the steps of the building next to Forest View. Rebecca was sobbing uncontrollably as I walked up to them.Ernesto had clearly been crying too. He told me they didn’t want to do it, but they are 20, working, and going to school.I hugged them both and brought them upstairs to the Women’s Center. When they came out, they were happy to receive a baby blanket and stuffed animal for their child! The smile on Rebecca’s face was pure relief. However, she is still nervous to tell her parents. Please pray that Rebecca’s parents will be compassionate and supportive. ** We are still looking for groups of three or more people to reach our goal of having people praying outside every day abortions are performed at Forest View. They commit abortions on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Even if your group could only be there for one hour, it would make a difference. Right now we have every Thursday and the last Saturday of the month covered (although we could use help on Thursdays from 10:30 – 11:30 am!). Please contact us to discuss the possibility of being part of this life-saving mission. We would supply you with everything you need for a successful vigil. All you need to do is find a couple of friends to join you! News about your spiritually adopted baby: ** During this third week of life, blood vessels are beginning to form already. The foundations for the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system are being laid. And sometime this week (around day 18) the baby’s heart will begin to beat!! All this is happening before the mother even knows she is pregnant and it is happening inside a baby who is only about the size of the tip of a pin. What a little miracle! “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people…”Luke 2: 10
We got confirmation last week that Dimensions abortion mill (Golf and River Rds. in Des Plaines) is closed PERMANENTLY!Glory to God!We do not know the reason, but we do know that last spring we held a five-day vigil in front of Dimensions as part of “40 Days for Life.”Faithful prayer warriors prayed from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm every day from April 13th until April 17th.Then we held the closing ceremony there. Over 50 people joined together for prayer and singing (Thanks, Couples for Christ!). Finally, we made a Jericho March by walking around the building, reading from the Bible, singing, and spreading blessed salt and holy water. God has answered our prayers!Since Dimensions was one of Dr. Goyal’s seven clinics, we have only six left to close. With this good news, we can approach our vigils at Forest View (one of Goyal’s) with new enthusiasm! We do not need to be afraid! God is at work. Now is the time to step up our vigils since we can expect more clients now that they have one less option for an abortion in Des Plaines. Can you get a group of 3 or more people together to pledge to stand vigil one day a month at Forest View? Let’s shut it down! Our goal is to have people praying outside whenever abortions are performed there. But the good news doesn’t stop there. The Rockford abortion mill, which is one of the most disturbing testaments to the satanic nature of abortion, has been closed since September based on disgusting finds during a Health Department inspection. It will be closed until at least January and, we pray, it will be closed permanently! You can read more here: http://prolifecorner.com/node/1019 . I’m sure there’s more good news out there today on the pro-life front thanks to good people like you praying and taking action for LIFE!As we look forward to the birth of Christ, our source of eternal “Good News,” may God bless you and your families.Happy Advent! News from the last two Thursdays’ Forest View vigils: ** On Thursday, November 17, we estimate EIGHT children died. ** The desperation of abortion was plainly seen as one woman sat in her car crying. She did not want to speak to our counselors, but we believe she may have left without getting an abortion that day. ** The garbage man came to empty the dumpster behind Forest View. One of our counselors went over to talk to him and asked if he would let us know if he ever noticed anything being illegally disposed of in their trash. The aborted babies and any medical waste is required to be disposed of as medical waste and NOT placed in a dumpster. The man told us he would absolutely let us know if he ever suspected illegal dumping. ** On Thursday, November 24, we had an extra reason to give thanks – NO BABIES DIED since Forest View was closed for Thanksgiving. We pray that the employees and Dr. Goyal took time on that day off to reflect on the difference of a day without death and that their hearts may be softened to LIFE. TIME TO SPIRITUALLY ADOPT A BABY: ** At our meeting last week (see attached notes), many of us spiritually adopted new babies. But for those of you who couldn’t join us, I’m going to use TODAY as the date of conception. So here’s your chance to get in at the very beginning of LIFE!Somewhere in America or in a country far across the globe a baby will be conceived today. A baby designed by God.A baby loved by God. A unique individual with his or her own genes and own purpose. But this baby needs YOU!This baby’s parents don’t want a baby. Now it’s time to name this baby. Pray for this baby.Love this baby. Because in about 4 weeks, the mother will discover she is pregnant and wonder about abortion. She will need your prayers. The baby needs your prayers. With almost 4000 abortions everyday in America, we can assume that around 4000 “unwanted” babies are conceived every day.Imagine if we could match up each of those babies with a person like you! Nine months from now there will be a day with 4000 more births than usual! And 4000 less abortions during that same time. All you have to do is commit to praying this short prayer (or one straight from your heart!) every day for nine months. “Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of [baby’s name] the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.”- Prayer of Archbishop Fulton J.
