“And my tongue shall declare Your righteousness and Your praise all day long.” Psalms 35:28
Praying at a clinic can be a discouraging task at times. Watching women and men enter without even a look your way can be disheartening for even the most stalwart sidewalk counselor or prayer warrior. Standing there with others who share your frustration can be an opportunity for despairing talk. However, in those moments we can look to these words from Psalms and declare that God is righteous! The battle has already been won. God does not ask us to have “success” at the clinics. He only asks us to keep vigilant and pray, bearing witness for all who enter so that they may “see the good that we do and give glory to God.” Keep your minds and hearts lifted up to God whether praying at a clinic or talking to friends from church. It is easy to complain about the evil of abortion or the moral wasteland of our country, but try instead to talk of the goodness of God. Negative talk does not bring about a positive end. Only by raising one another up can we make the positive impact we seek! Praise God all day long! Wishing you and your families a blessed Thanksgiving, from our Families! News from the last three Thursday Forest View vigils: ** On Thursday, October 31, we estimate that FOUR people died at Forest View “medical clinic.” ** There was a “save” of sorts that day. We watched a car as it drove through the parking lot and left, only to come back again minutes later and park in the Forest View lot. A man, woman, and young boy (about 4) got out. I quickly ran over as they walked to the door and told them it was not a good place to bring their son and about the free help in the Women's Center building. The man came over to me and said they were just looking for directions. When I asked to where, he replied, "The Women's Center." What a joyful response! I immediately walked them into the Women's Center building congratulating them on their new baby. I can only imagine what would have happened if they had gone into Forest View looking for the Women's Center. Would an honest employee have told them? Or would they have told this couple that they should make a different "choice" and abort their child? Either way, we are thankful to God that they didn’t find out! ** On Thursday, November 7, we estimate that EIGHT women made a “choice” that will change their lives forever. ** We spoke to the young employee named Carmen again. She is always willing to stop on her way out to pick up lunch. She is an Hispanic Catholic, so I gave her a prayer card with Our Lady of Guadalupe on it and asked her to pray. I inquired about the nurse who seems to be the one sent out most often to bring unsure women back into the mill, and Carmen told me her name is Marcella. We have added her by name now to our list of prayer intentions below. Let’s storm Heaven with prayer for these employees. ** Another woman also stopped on her way out of the clinic. She had been there for her annual exam and told me she chose it because it is on her insurance (BCBS) and close to her office. I informed her of the main purpose of the clinic, to kill children, and she was horrified. I then asked for her email so I could provide her with a list of nearby pro-life ob/gyns who would care for her AND her child if she ever becomes pregnant. (See attached list) ** On Thursday, November 14, we estimate that FIVE children were murdered at Forest View. ** One young married couple in their late 20’s did not want to talk on their way in. However, when they exited, the man especially was very appreciative as I gave the woman a flower and a Project Rachel brochure. We pray for all married couples that they be open to the gift of life. PRAY FOR THESE FOREST VIEW EMPLOYEES - Nancy: Office manager and post-abortive woman - Dr. Goyal: owner and operator of Forest View and 4 other suburban and 1 Chicago abortion mill - Samantha: Was “just answering phones” as a way to make money for culinary school 3 years ago when we first met her. Now she has quit school and appears to be thoroughly invested in the business of abortion. - *Carmen: New employee, cashier, Catholic - *Amber: New employee, Nurse’s assistant, Phlebotomist, Finds abortion “interesting,” refused abortion for her own unplanned pregnancy. - Brenda: Her boyfriend told us she does not want to work there anymore and is looking for a new job. - *Marcella: She has been sarcastic to us in the past, often sent out to bring unsure women back in. *Three starred have a copy of the Abby Johnson letter (http://www.attwn.org/wp-content/themes/attwn-child/images/attwn-onepage-lightbackground.pdf).
