“…do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say…” (Matthew 10:19) Living as a pro-lifer these days can be difficult at times. We may hear conversations at work, with friends, or at the store about current events and be afraid to express our views. But as I read from “The Word Among Us” (http://wau.org/) today, I felt greatly encouraged and wanted to spread it around! “Before he ascended to heaven, Jesus told us to ‘make disciples of all nations’ (Mttw. 28:19). That’s quite a tall order! How in the world could we ever do that? What should we say? And to whom? What if they reject it? In answer to all these questions, Jesus simply says, ‘Do not worry.’ You are not alone. The Holy Spirit is with you. He will provide all you need to share your faith – all the wisdom and boldness to know what to do, when to speak, what to say, to whom to say it. He will help you to love people, and give you the words and actions that will draw them to himself. He is always watching over you. He will never forsake you, but always help you and deliver you (Psalms 37:28, 39-40).” We hope this helps strengthen you to join a conversation in the coming weeks or maybe take part in the “Face the Truth Tour” taking place now through next Saturday (See Upcoming Events below). And if you get inspired and step out in faith, let us know! We’d love to hear your story. GOOD NEWS FROM THE ILLINOIS SUPREME COURT! Yesterday, “the Illinois Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the Illinois Parental Notice of Abortion Act of 1995 is constitutional and, therefore, must take effect.” This will require “that parents or guardians be notified at least 48 hours prior to a minor acquiring an abortion.” Although it does not require parental permission, it is a step in the right direction and for that we are grateful to God! A baby saved from abortion at Forest View in December of 2011 turns one year old today, July 12! Happy Birthday, Eliana. God bless her mom Veronica for choosing life! Thank you, God, for this beautiful gift. See attached picture of her from last Sept. News from the last three Thursday Forest View vigils:
** On Thursday, June 20, we estimate that TWO children died at a so-called “medical clinic.” ** A heartbreaking scene unfolded as a van pulled in with a 30ish couple in the front seat and two smiling boys, about 4 and 2, in the back. As the couple sat there seeming not to want to get out of the car, we offered help and encouraged the woman to choose life. The older son tried to get his dad’s attention and point us out, but the father only waved him away. The sadness on the mother’s face was devastating. Nothing we said could get her to look our way, and she went in alone as the father drove off with two of his three children - One never to be known in this world. ** Sometimes people will be referred by Blue Cross/Blue Shield to Forest View not for abortion, but for some sort of cancer screening or test. Sarah is one of those. She stopped to speak to us feeling very nervous about the test and I assured her that we would pray for her. So please do! ** On Thursday, June 27, we estimate that EIGHT women chose to stop the beating heart of their children in the womb. ** One couple in their late 20’s arrived that day. The man stopped to talk to Terry and admitted that he is married to someone else and has two children. The woman also is married. Now the innocent child in her womb has to pay the price for this couple’s adulterous relationship. Abortion has allowed so many evils to fester in society. Adultery is one of them. Not that there wasn’t adultery before abortion, but abortion has made it very easy for this couple to continue in their sin. May God have mercy on them and use this horrible situation to awaken their consciences. ** On Thursday, July 11, we estimate that TEN of God’s precious ones were murdered. ** One woman came out and approached us saying that she did not have an abortion. However, she had miscarried a week earlier and was coming to Forest View for a check-up (At Forest View, they actually do have a nurse practitioner on staff who performs other legitimate medical duties). The woman’s name is Jenna and she has a 2 year old son. I gave her a flower and a hug which she accepted gratefully. Please pray that this young woman will find healing after her loss. ** There may be some good news about three employees from Forest View. Ramesh has not been seen at Forest View since they closed for remodeling! I had spoken with him and given him one of Abby Johnson’s letters many months ago after he expressed wanting to leave the clinic. Another woman, Margaret who also received one of the letters, has not been seen since remodeling either and is no longer listed as being employed at Goyal’s other office in Arlington Heights. We pray God has led them out of these places of death! Finally, I spoke to Samantha from Forest View and she told me she is going back to school and “has a plan” to leave the clinic. Please pray that her plan will be one in the same with God’s good plan for her!
