“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout… So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11
I know I’m not the only one who prayed for “good” weather for our march, but clearly God’s plans were the best. Seeing such a HUGE group out there in the driving snow was a real testament to our commitment to life. All the people driving by the plaza that day (and there were many!) got a glimpse of the heart and soul of pro-lifers. We are strong, we are determined, and we will not rest until each of our brothers and sisters is protected.
The above Scripture from Isaiah seems to be God’s explanation for the beautiful weather he provided for us. The snow “watered” us like the word of God and we will not rest until we have accomplished God’s desire – an end to abortion. We will succeed in this matter of Life because God our Father, sender of the snow, sends us.
